That’s not what happened. Francisco spent two years as an 11B Infantryman with the 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, then left through the slow bureaucratic machinery of a medical separation. No new orders arrived for the civilian transition—just a DD-214 and a demand to explain your old life to people who had never needed to know.
Disgruntled Outpost was built for that gap. Every piece is a cultural artifact: a signal to the people who have been there, and nothing that needs explaining to anyone else.
